Kirby's Wig Care Tips

- Always detangle wigs before washing

- Wash your wigs once a month by diluting shampoo into a bowl of cool water and allow it to soak, DO NOT rub shampoo into your wig then rinse with cool water.

- Apply conditioner to the mid and ends of your wig, avoid getting it on the cap. Leave for 5-10 minutes then rinse with cool water.

- Apply argan oil or serum and allow to air dry, DO NOT brush wig while wet.

- Always use heat protectant and a low heat setting while styling your wig, blow dry your wig using a downward motion to ensure the hair stays smooth.

- Try to use hair oils on your wig before each use.

- Use a wide toothed comb or detangle brush to carefully comb small sections.

Care Tips

- You can use heat tools to style your human hair wig but be sure to use low-medium settings, high temperatures can cause breakage, frizzing and split ends. Same occurs when blow drying.

- Use heat protectant when styling every time.

Keep your wig covered

- When you aren't wearing your wig, its important to keep it covered so you don't get dust and dirt on your wig.

- Invest in a breathable wig cap and some soft fabric pillowcases that are free of dyes and fragrances.

How to keep your human hair wig soft & silky

- Use good natural oil such as extra virgin oil, coconut oil, grape-seed oil and extra virgin olive oils, the oil should be applied along the entire length of your wig.

- Alternatives to using oil you can use moisturising conditioner.
